Important Safety Notice

Building and working with tube amplifiers involves high voltages, which can be dangerous. It is essential to understand basic safety practices when handling these devices. Only trained professionals should attempt to build, modify, or repair tube amplifiers. If you lack the necessary training in high voltage work, please seek assistance from a qualified amplifier technician.

WARNING: Guitar amplifiers can contain LETHAL high voltages, exceeding 700 volts AC and 500 volts DC. Even after being unplugged, filter capacitors can retain enough charge to cause serious injury or even be fatal.

Any modifications you undertake are at your own risk. EVATCO assumes no liability for personal injury or property damage under any circumstances.

This work can be extremely dangerous, and improper handling can lead to severe injuries or worse.

EVATCO is not responsible for any misprints, typographical errors, or mistakes that may lead to damage to people or equipment. We reserve the right to make design changes or improvements without obligation to revise previous versions, and all specifications are subject to change without notice.

Safety Precautions

Qualified Personnel: Only trained and qualified individuals should attempt to build, service, repair, or modify these amplifiers.

Power Off: Ensure the amplifier is powered off and unplugged from the electrical source before any maintenance or repairs.

High Voltage Hazards: This amplifier contains high-voltage components capable of delivering severe or fatal electric shocks. Handle all internal components with extreme caution.

Capacitor Discharge: Capacitors may retain electrical charge even when the amplifier is unplugged. Properly discharge capacitors before working on the unit to avoid electric shock.

Protective Gear: Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as insulated gloves and safety goggles, when working with high-voltage components.

Grounding: Ensure the amplifier is correctly grounded to mitigate electrical hazards. Never bypass safety grounding measures.

By using this website, you acknowledge the potential risks associated with high voltages and agree to adhere to all safety precautions and guidelines provided. EVATCO disclaims any liability for injuries or damages resulting from misuse, mishandling, or improper construction or servicing of this amplifier.
