Fender Style Brown Leather Handle

Looks and feels good but not strong enough

This appears to be a quality handle however after I carried my amp (a light amp with a neo speaker) no more than about 15 times for short distances, it broke. On inspection it is a composite cardboard and fibre material that looks like leather but is not.

Getting a grip on a handle

The handle reviewed here is the Fender Style Brown Leather Handle. It arrived promptly to my rural property in S.E. Queensland in perfect condition and upon opening the package, all components listed were present and well packed. I found all the hardware to be of a high quality perfectly suited to the intended purpose. The leather handle itself is made of two stitched, soft leather halves with extra padding down the centre rib of the underside of the handle, and is made to a very high standard of quality. Total installation time for me was around fifteen minutes as the handle was being installed onto a bass guitar case I had built from 3/4" ply. It went together very well with no burring of the screws, a skill of which I have down to a fine art. This handle really sets off the case and is more than capable of handling the load I ask of it, although please note that overloading any strap/handle is not recommended. I am very pleased with the Fender Style Brown Handle. It provides the strength and comfort of carrying that I require of it and I will not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone needing a well made, high class handle for any suitable purpose. Highly Recommended.
